Pony Chung Foundation was established in 2005 in order to celebrate the true leader of our time, Se-yung Chung’s achievements, and inherit his valuable ideas.

Honorary Chairman Chung developed and manufactured Korea’s first locally made automobile, Pony, in a once barren land. Since then, he took the lead in developing new cars and pioneering the export market, thereby transforming Korea into a leading nation in the auto industry. Since 2005, Pony Chung Foundation has been carrying on his creative and innovative spirit and philosophy of emphasizing talents through various activities and projects. For the past years, the foundation’s strong will to sustain Pony Chung’s legacy has taken deep root. Today, we are seeing the fruits of our projects all around us.
